Under the general supervision of the AVP of Facilities & Capital Projects, the Supervising Plumber works with and supervises a small group of journey-level plumbers and semi-skilled assistants. The Supervising Plumber is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Plumbing Unit within Facilities Management and Services (FMS). The incumbent may perform a full range of skilled journey-level plumbing maintenance and repair work. The Supervising Plumber is responsible for overseeing the design and installation of plumbing equipment and systems for maintenance and new construction including modification projects. Duties include installation, maintenance, inspection, modification, remodel and repair of mechanical plumbing equipment and fixtures for water, gas, oil, steam, sewage, fire sprinkler/prevention, and refrigeration-related plumbing systems ensure a clean, safe, and attractive learning environment. The incumbent oversees preventive and non-preventive maintenance, oversight of plumbing operations, and program related record-keeping.
Facilities Management and Services (FMS) is a large, multifaceted department whose employees work various shifts and provide diverse administrative and operational services campus wide.

Accounts Payable Technician II

| Under the general direction of the Manager of Accounts Payable, the Accounts Payable Technician II takes the lead on a wide range of dynamic, professional-level responsibilities that keep the Accounts Payable operation — and the entire campus community — running smoothly. This role is hands-on and fast-moving, overseeing the accurate and timely processing of financial transactions, from vendor invoices to CSU-compliant travel expense reports. The incumbent also dives into evaluating activities for withholding tax requirements, coordinating annual 1099 reporting to the IRS, and serving as a go-to resource for ongoing education and support across campus.
Beyond daily operations, this position actively contributes to forward-thinking initiatives, including continuous improvement efforts and CSU-wide projects that involve analyzing needs, planning enhancements, designing solutions, and testing new software systems. Additional responsibilities include in-depth research, high-quality customer service, and other duties as assigned.
