The Collection Strategies Librarian leverages data and emerging technologies to build representative, inclusive collections that support a broad range of academic disciplines and research methods. Working under the general supervision of the Associate Dean for Collections, Systems, and Digital Strategy, the role prioritizes equitable access and sustainable licensing in a global information landscape. In addition to discipline-specific duties, the position entails participation in library-wide strategic initiatives, and a formal program of scholarship and creative work. Candidates must demonstrate a commitment to professional scholarship and service, meeting the university’s requirements for tenure and promotion through active engagement in the field. The Business Librarian at Cal Poly is a tenure-track faculty member responsible for aligning library services with the university’s "Learn by Doing" mission. Primary responsibilities include serving as the lead liaison to the Orfalea College of Business where they support undergraduate and graduate programs across the San Luis Obispo, Solano, and community college 2+2 degree contexts. Additionally, the Business Librarian plays a lead liaison role for Agribusiness in the College of Agriculture, Food and Environmental Sciences, supporting hands-on, interdisciplinary programs that integrate quantitative analysis and industry engagement. The role involves active collaboration with faculty and students to meet accreditation and curricular priorities. The Meriam Library at California State University, Chico is seeking a Senior Assistant Tenure-Track Health Sciences and Community Services Librarian beginning in the summer 2026. Serving as the liaison to health sciences and community services programs, including the School of Nursing, Public Health & Health Services Administration, Child Development, and the School of Social Work, the Health Sciences and Community Services Librarian will provide information literacy instruction, in-depth research consultations, and reference service to faculty, undergraduates, and master’s students in both face-to-face and online environments. John M. Pfau Library - Student Success Librarian 12 Month	San Bernardino - San Bernardino Campus
Reporting to the Dean of the CSUSB Libraries, the Student Success Librarian will coordinate library outreach and instruction efforts for first- and second-year students and transfer students. Working closely with the Outreach Librarian and Instruction Librarian, this person will promote library services, programs, and collections through external partnerships, program development, workshops, and targeted support. The Student Success Librarian will remain current with developments and trends in teaching, research, and learning that impact CSUSB students, such as AI tools, and will be proactive in incorporating such developments in instructional and programmatic library offerings. The successful candidate will be expected to meet retention, promotion, and tenure standards for tenure-track library faculty in three areas: (1) professional assignments; (2) research, scholarly, or creative contributions; and (3) university and/or community service. The library provides support for and fosters intellectual endeavors. Librarians are valued as faculty with their own varied research interests which may not be limited to library science.  Applicants selected for in-person interviews will be reimbursed for any travel expenses they incur. Should the successful candidate need to relocate, moving expenses may be partially reimbursed.
