Assistant Director of Basic Needs Services (Student Services Professional IV) Fullerton
The Basic Needs Services department within Dean of Students Office provides comprehensive programs and support to students who experience unforeseen hardships or circumstances that often result in food, housing, and financial insecurity. Forms of assistance include food, temporary housing, grant funds, hygiene products, and access to gently worn professional attire. Students are also provided with guidance and referrals to on and off-campus resources. Such support alleviates the distress of meeting one’s basic needs while also managing academic, work, and other responsibilities, thus promoting well-being and retention. Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act, the current Annual Security Report (ASR) is available for viewing at: https://hr.fullerton.edu/risk-management/clery-act/. This report contains the current security and safety-related policy statements, emergency preparedness and evacuation information, crime prevention and sexual assault prevention information, and drug and alcohol prevention programming. In addition, pursuant to the Higher Education Opportunity Act, the AFSR is also available at https://hr.fullerton.edu/risk-management/clery-act/. The purpose of this report is to disclose statistics for fires that occurred within California State University, Fullerton housing facilities for the last three (3) calendar years, and to distribute fire safety policies and procedures intended to promote safety on campus. A paper copy of the AFSR is available upon request by contacting the Housing Office located at The Housing & Residential Engagement Main Office.
