Access & Retention Coordinator

| Under the direction of the Director, Equity Programs, the Access and Retention Coordinator will deliver comprehensive, coordinated services to both prospective and current Beach Pathway and EOP students. The Coordinator provides holistic guidance that includes academic support, personal and social-emotional coaching, career and post-graduate planning, and assistance navigating financial aid processes to promote students’ educational progress and persistence. The role also includes offering essential life-skills development and community-building support to strengthen students’ sense of belonging and overall success at CSULB. The incumbent provides services that are equitable, inclusive, and provide culturally sensitive services that enhance the quality of campus life. The incumbent uses a student centered and equity minded approach in all communication and service efforts. |
