Major Duties

Budget: manage $1 million annual budget

Programming: oversee all activities to make sure we meet our funding goals and compliance standards

Collaboration: participate in regional and statewide meetings with funding agencies (FRC Network of California, Family Empowerment Centers/Calif Dept of Education, Dept of Developmental Services)

Contracting: develop and maintain Memoranda of Understanding and contracts with multiple agencies

Reporting: create and monitor budgets and data for all programs; complete required reports for University Corp and funders on required timelines; ensure grant funds are expended timely and appropriately

Personnel: supervise 13 staff members; manage payroll, lead recruiting efforts, new appointments and Action Requests; coordinate training and professional development activities for staff



Ability to read, analyze and present complex information to a variety of audiences. Ability to manage and analyze multiple data; ability to manage multiple projects and priorities. B.A. degree required; Master of Public Administration or related MA preferred


Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

Understanding of principles of family strengthening and support, disabilities and special education systems.

Understanding of the importance of cultural sensitivity and culturally appropriate service delivery materials.

Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Chrome or other widely used and supported Internet browsers, and in information gathering systems.


Pay, Benefits, & Work Schedule

This position is employed through The University Corporation (TUC). The position is full-time, 30+ hours per week.


The anticipated hiring maximum: $80,000.00 per year salary
