Under general supervision of the Center Director, the Project Manager is responsible for a variety of duties related to managing Geographical Information Systems (GIS) projects and supervising staff. These duties include administering GIS projects from conception to completion, managing project teams, serving as a liaison with Center clients and partners, developing documentation, supporting and developing Center GIS technology and training and supervising Center staff and interns.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
This position requires a comprehensive understanding of GIS concepts and an in-depth knowledge of ESRI’s ArcGIS platform so that the Project Manager can ensure the timely completion of high-quality GIS related projects. The Project Manager will also perform other related duties as assigned.
Per CSUN/TUC Mandate, candidate will be required to show proof of COVID 19 vaccination including booster.
Pay, Benefits, & Work Schedule
This position is employed through The University Corporation (TUC).
Work Schedule M-F; 9AM-5PM
The anticipated salary range $36.00 per hour
