Overview:

Will have the primary responsibility of ensuring all elements of school-based services and training are met and act as the primary liaison between school sites and project partners.

 

Major Duties

Directs the day-to-day operations of the program, develops and implements programmatic and administrative policies and procedures to attain program goals and objectives.  Supervises the staff, evaluates employee performance.  Oversees quality assurance in the programs service delivery including clinical care and documentation.  Oversees the programs productivity to meet the established standards and to ensure continuity of care in the provision of comprehensive services.  Coordinates communication with other service components of the agency and outside agencies involved with clients.  Participates in training development and presentations. Develops pre and post program surveys.  Reviews quality assurance reports and works to remedy any deficits in data collection.  Conducts weekly staff meetings, and participates in all multidisciplinary meetings. Serves on agency working groups, adheres to the agencies code of ethics and complies with the State of California Child Welfare codes. 

 

Qualifications 

Masters of Ph.D. in Marriage and Family therapy/Clinical Social work or Clinical Psychology. Licensed to practice in the State of California by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences. At least three- years-experience in the field of mental health and substance abuse.

 

Knowledge, Specialized Skills, and Abilities

Must demonstrate history of providing services to children and youth.  Knowledge of appropriate clinical interventions, legal and ethical requirements in the provision of counseling to minors and youth.  Experience managing and developing programming.  An acceptance and respect for cultural diversity in all its forms, including ethnicity, sexual orientation, abilities, and religious backgrounds and an ability to work collaboratively in an ethnically linguistically, and culturally diverse environment. Must present themselves in a professional manner. Thorough knowledge of correct English grammar, spelling, and punctuation and possess excellent written, communication and organizational skills; attention to detail and accuracy in all areas of work is required; possess computer literacy (email, word and excel). Must be able to write reports and business correspondence; ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from direct service staff, supervisors and managers.

 

Pay, Benefits, & Work Schedule

This position is employed through The University Corporation (TUC).

 

The anticipated hiring range: $35 per hour

 

General Information

THE SELECTED CANDIDATE IS REQUIRED TO PASS A THOROUGH DEPARTMENT (BACKGROUND INVESTIGATION AND LIVE SCAN).

 

Per CSUN/TUC Mandate, the candidate will be required to show proof of COVID 19 vaccination including booster.
