This position carries out parking enforcement duties in compliance with campus parking rules and regulations, local rules and ordinances, and the California Vehicle Code. Duties include patrolling campus parking lots and campus streets by foot and state vehicle to enforce motor vehicle parking regulations; issues warnings or citations for lack of valid parking permits, illegal parking or any other violation by entering the information into a hand-held computer; tows vehicles; and directs vehicular and pedestrian traffic at specific intersections or locations as needed during peak traffic hours.

These students reside in 12 residence halls, operating 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
