The primary assignment of this professional is to help meet the fundraising needs of the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics. Reporting to the Interim Associate Vice President for Development, the assignment includes working with the Director of Athletics, the Associate Director of Athletics/Senior Woman Administrator, Coaches, and other University leadership to identify and operationalize the development objectives and goals of the Department. The ADOD will serve as the primary development officer engaged in donor identification, prospecting, cultivation, solicitation, stewardship, and communication for gifts of $25,000 or more. As an integral part of the University Advancement program, the ADOD will work to foster lasting relationships between the university and its benefactors, promoting positive attitudes toward private support among current and future donors.

The Capital Finance & Budget Manager will maintain the fiscal integrity of FP&M resources through the management of the department’s funds, programs, and projects. In conjunction with the SAVP, the incumbent will oversee and direct the department’s financial operation in accordance with the guidelines established by generally accepted accounting principles: Integrated California State University Administrative Manual (ICSUAM), and California State University (CSU) practices and guideline and ensures the maintenance of internal financial controls.
