Senior Coordinator, Parent and Family Engagement Pomona
New Student Programs and Family Engagement will be responsible for facilitating special project initiatives, collaborating with and co-leading new student orientation, leading parent, family, and supporter orientation, and supporting the programmatic and fundraising efforts. The senior coordinator will manage a Parent & Family Program that encompasses interactions with parents, families, and supporters; co-chair Parent & Family Weekend annually; collaborate with all aspects of various programmatic areas to include Orientation, Alumni Affairs, Student Affairs Development, and the Office of Student Life; serve on appropriate university committees and governing boards; work closely with students, faculty, staff, and the community to collaborate on programmatic initiatives designed to support college students and their families in their transition and on-going success, and all other related duties as assigned.
Transfer and Graduation Advisor Pomona
The primary purpose of this position is to provide professional student support services to the students, faculty, and university community relating to academic policies and procedures, transfer information, degree requirements, degree progress at Cal Poly Pomona (CPP), and graduation clearance. Advise and counsel students, provide guidance and recommendations to faculty and academic staff, and assist with the resolution of complex situations.
Disability Resource Center Access Specialist Pomona
Under the supervision of the Disability Resource Center (DRC) Director or designee, the DRC Access Specialist will develop, implement and coordinate a comprehensive program of academic accommodations and support services for students with disabilities. The primary purpose of this position is to consult with students and review disability documentation to assess potential disability-related access barriers and eligibility for appropriate academic adjustments and accommodations. The student population includes, but is not limited to, those with ADHD and other mental health conditions that markedly impact executive functioning skills and require moderate to high levels of support to function effectively and participate meaningfully in a postsecondary education setting.
Director, Facilities Business Services Pomona
Under the general direction of the Senior Associate Vice President of Facilities Management, the Director of Business Services provides oversight and guidance for all FPM financial activities (budget, accounting, contracts, and procurement), in accordance with CSU and University policies and practices.
