Associate Director/Senior Deputy Title IX Coordinator Pomona
The Associate Director/Senior Deputy Title IX Coordinator will primarily oversee investigations of allegations alleging sexual misconduct, as well as discrimination, harassment, or retaliation (DHR) filed by students, faculty staff and third parties that are based on a protected category. The incumbent will be responsible for providing high-level technical guidance to Complaint Resolution Officers on all aspects of Title IX and DHR related matters.
Costume Technician Pomona
For each production, the costume technician is required to read the script and/or score, research the period, consult with the costume designer and director, break down the designs to establish yardage and accessories, purchase fabric and other matierals as needed, draft new or adjust commercial patterns, oversee the cutting, sewing, and fitting of each costume as well as costume dyeing and costume crafts. In consultation with the production manager/costume designer, the costume technician organizes the costume construction crew and establishes working hours, as well as trains and oversees costume running crews on proper organization and costume maintenance; assists the costume designer for "dress parade" or "rack walk"; makes costume changes by dress rehearsal; oversees maintenance of the wardrobe during the run of the show, which may include washing and drying of costumes; organizes "strike" (closing of the show), and oversees the cleaning and storage of all production costumes. Maintains the costume shop and storage facility; oversees and instructs the students in the cleaning and maintenance of all costumes and room equipment, including sewing machines, steamer, irons, washing machine, dryer, dye vat, etc. Following each production, the facilities are cleaned and inventory is taken of fabrics, trim, scissors, needles, threads, etc., for necessary repair and replacement. Upon consultation with the costume designer and department chair, the technician will place orders for replacement of stock items (thread, linings, needles, pins, hangers, etc.) as well as shop equipment. Responsible for the check out of costumes for class projects for acting classes as well as the Senior Project; during production breaks, the technician is responsible for check out of costumes for other activities on and off campus. The costume technician calculates student work hours and, with the designer, evaluates each student's performance.
Cashier Pomona
Under the direction of the Manager of Student Financials and Cashiering Services, the Accounting Technician I will render excellent customer service by receipting, balancing, and accounting for all of Cal Poly's cash receipts for registration, parking decals, parking citations, housing and numerous other fees and obligations due to the University. The individual will be responsible for the calculation, preparation, and collection of fees/tuition installments and third-party contracts. The cashier will also be the principal point of contact for assisting with check disbursements to employees and students.
Associate Vice President, Development Pomona
The AVP will envision, develop, implement and manage the divisional annual plan that achieves the University's ambitious fundraising goals. With Cal Poly Pomona's University Advancement Department, the AVP is responsible for the overall leadership and direction of corporate relations, foundation relations, planned giving, leadership annual giving and the annual fund teams.
