The Executive Assistant to the Office of Student Success leadership (Associate Provost and Assistant VP for Strategic Initiatives for Student Success) has broad responsibilities for providing executive and confidential administrative and technical support to the leadership of the Office of Student Success and the department within the unit. This position oversees and performs a variety of day-to-day administrative and technical duties that require a thorough knowledge of the university’s academic programs and all the programs, projects, and responsibilities under the leadership of the Office of Student Success. The incumbent will support the Associate Provost and Assistant VP in daily operations, budget support and coordination of the units work. The Executive Assistant plans, prioritizes, schedules, and coordinates workflow related to assigned operations and activities in support of the committees, programs, and projects that are the responsibility of the Office of Student Success. This position requires excellent organizational skills and the ability to work with diverse stakeholders across the campus.The Executive Assistant will interpret and apply operating policies and procedures, which require tact in communication to all parties. As directed by the Associate Provost and Assistant VP for Strategic Initiatives for Student Success, the Executive Assistant will prepare and analyze reports and data with recommendations for possible change and action. |
