Transfer and Graduation Advisor Pomona
The primary purpose of this position is to provide professional student support services to the students, faculty, and university community relating to academic policies and procedures, transfer information, degree requirements, degree progress at Cal Poly Pomona (CPP), and graduation clearance. Advise and counsel students, provide guidance and recommendations to faculty and academic staff, and assist with the resolution of complex situations.
Disability Resource Center Access Specialist Pomona
Under the supervision of the Disability Resource Center (DRC) Director or designee, the DRC Access Specialist will develop, implement and coordinate a comprehensive program of academic accommodations and support services for students with disabilities. The primary purpose of this position is to consult with students and review disability documentation to assess potential disability-related access barriers and eligibility for appropriate academic adjustments and accommodations. The student population includes, but is not limited to, those with ADHD and other mental health conditions that markedly impact executive functioning skills and require moderate to high levels of support to function effectively and participate meaningfully in a postsecondary education setting.
Director, Facilities Business Services Pomona
Under the general direction of the Senior Associate Vice President of Facilities Management, the Director of Business Services provides oversight and guidance for all FPM financial activities (budget, accounting, contracts, and procurement), in accordance with CSU and University policies and practices. The Director manages the development and on-going administration of the approximately $12M departmental operating budget, as well as trust funds, special allocations and capital construction budgets. The position coordinates and administers day-to-day financial operations of International Programs and leads the daily oversight of office operations.
