Assistant to the Dean and Front Desk Coordinator Pomona
Join the Dean’s Office in the College of Letters, Arts, and Social Sciences (C.L.A.S.S.), the largest and most dynamic academic unit on campus, supporting 12 departments and a diverse community of faculty, staff, and students. This pivotal role provides high-level administrative support to the Dean and Associate Dean, coordinating academic personnel processes, managing complex calendars, and leading key college-wide projects and events. Faculty Recruitment and Hiring Coordinator Pomona
The Faculty Recruitment and Hiring Coordinator position is responsible for developing and executing talent acquisition plans, initiating strategies in collaboration with the Employee and Organizational Development and Advancement/Human Resources Operations (EODA-HR) to support the development of highly diverse and qualified talent pools for tenure line faculty and temporary faculty. The Coordinator conducts applicant sourcing and partnering with the colleges for diversity outreach, screening, selection and recruitment, and the facilitation of hiring in coordination with HR. The position plays a key role in identifying improvements to processes and systems, and partners with HEERA Managers to develop effective and appropriate recruitment and selection plans in compliance with federal and state laws and regulations as well as with the Unit 3 and Unite 11 Collective Bargaining Agreements and with University policies.

The Associate Vice President (AVP) for University Development and Chief Development Officer serves as a strategic partner to the Vice President for University Advancement and a key architect of Cal Poly Pomona's philanthropic future.
