| The Instructional Support Technician II (IST II) provides support to the Biological Sciences' Stockroom and, in this capacity, serves as primary purchasing agent for the Department. | The Basic Needs Resource Programs Assistant (Programs Assistant) is an SSP IA trainee level appointment working under the lead direction of the Student Health, Counseling & Wellness Services (SHCWS), Basic Needs Resource Center Coordinator (SSP-III) and with direct supervision from the Director of CARES, Basic Needs & Wellness. During the trainee period, which is not to exceed 12 months, the Programs Assistant is expected to develop and demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities to function under general supervision at the SSP IB working level. This incumbent will assist with mentoring and providing day-to-day guidance to paid student assistants and staff assigned to the Basic Needs Resource Center, under the supervision of professional staff. The Programs Assistant supports the work of the Basic Needs Resource Center Coordinator in developing, implementing and managing programs and services supporting students’ basic needs. |
