| Under the direction of the Deputy Chief of Police, the Lieutenant is third-in-command of the Sacramento State Police Department. The Lieutenant oversees 24/7 patrol, investigation operations, and Dispatch services. Responsibilities include maintaining communication within Operations, directing proactive patrols, community policing, emergency response, special event planning, investigations, property and evidence management, police fleet management, and overseeing the Community Service Specialist and Officer programs, and 9-1-1 dispatch. |

| The Housing Plumber performs the full range of skilled journey-level plumbing work including: maintenance and repair to campus plumbing fixtures; maintenance of campus plumbing equipment and systems; clear, clean, and maintain sewer lines and storm drains; review of campus construction and renovation project drawings to ensure compliance with campus standards and applicable codes; perform inspections on construction and remodel projects; lay out and install plumbing on new in-house construction and remodeling projects; etc. |
