| Provide parent education courses for parents/caregivers in an in person group format or online. Duties include facilitating 9-session parenting courses. Parent educators may also be asked to do “onetime” presentations on various parenting topics in the local area.
Parent educators will also be expected to complete necessary paperwork and facilitate after-class debriefing sessions with children’s program staff as needed. Parent educators must follow a fully developed parent education model (and will be trained to use this model before leading groups). |

| The Department Chemistry and Biochemistry at California State University, San Bernardino is seeking part-time lecturer applications from a diverse group of qualified individuals for both our San Bernardino Campus (SBC) as well as our Palm Desert Campus (PDC). The department is seeking experienced, well-organized, and student-centered individuals to teach in any of our subject areas: General Chemistry, Biochemistry, Organic Chemistry or Analytical Chemistry. Candidates must have at least a Master’s degree, or specialized certification for lecture and/or activity classes, in a field of Chemistry or related discipline. Preference will be given to candidates who have prior teaching experience at the college or university level and who can furnish evidence of strong teaching. Candidates should demonstrate their ability to interact and work effectively with a wide and culturally diverse range of students, including first-generation college students. The position entails between 8 and 20 hours of work per week and offers flexible hours (Monday-Saturday 8am-7:30pm), a hybrid work schedule that consists of face-to-face and Zoom consultations, and potential Winter intersession and Summer employment (budget contingent). Consultants will provide quality coaching to develop and polish students’ oral communication skills. |

| Under the general supervision of a Physician and direction of the Executive Director, the Nurse Practitioner provides a wide range of primary health care services within the Student Health Center (SHC) including assessment, diagnostic, and preventive and health maintenance services at the Palm Desert Campus. The incumbent works under the supervision of a physician using established standardized procedures and/or process protocols. The Nurse Practitioner collaborates with the SHC Executive Director and their supervising Physician(s) to develop standardized procedures and/or process protocols and scope of practice for their position. The incumbent provides a wide range of primary health care services, such as conducting physical examinations; diagnosing, treating, and managing illnesses and injuries; ordering tests and interpreting the results; and counseling patients on preventive care. This position is primarily located at the Palm Desert campus and may work occasionally on the San Bernardino campus. |

| Students applying to or currently enrolled in the M.A. in Communication Studies, within the Department of Communication & Media at California State University, San Bernardino, may be eligible to apply for Teaching Associate position each year during their term of study on the master’s degree program.
Department of Communication & Media TAs (Teaching Associates) teach COMM 1006 Oral Communication courses, following a successful application process, which involves a formal interview, and after training during the summer sessions (typically in July). The TAs are the instructor of record for their sections of COMM 1006 Oral Communication, and as such are responsible for all aspects of the preparation of the course. |
