| Under general direction of the Director, Employment Services, the Manager, Employment Services is a “working manager” responsible for the day-to-day operations of the employment services department. The Senior Manager, Employment Services provides quality and timely customer service to the campus community and departmental constituents, and advises administrators, staff and faculty of administrative policies, procedures, and legal issues related to employment services functions of the University.
This position requires the ability to work a flexible schedule, including occasional evenings and weekends, based on departmental needs and event scheduling. |

| As a division of Academic Affairs, Academic Success & Undergraduate Advising (ASUA) provides advising and academic support to all CSUSB students. ASUA helps students establish and maintain a sense of belonging with the university through academic support services and programs. ASUA facilitates pathways to graduation and enhances the undergraduate and graduate experience. ASUA specialized student-support programs include Academic Advising, Coyotes Achieve, Peer Advising, Early Assessment Program (EAP), Student Mentoring Program (SMP), Coyote Experience, Yotie Oso, and the Student Success Studio (S3) at PDC, Academic Support programs include Tutoring, Supplemental Instruction (SI), Academic Testing, and the CSUSB Writing Centers (for graduate and undergraduates). We value the inherent academic potential in all CSUSB students, and through interactions with our staff members, students are guided to make well-informed educational decisions and plan to create the most meaningful education for themselves. Partnering with senior leadership and University Advancement, this role manages a portfolio of major donors, cultivating and soliciting transformative gifts. Performance is measured by financial goals, donor engagement, and overall fundraising impact. Reporting to the Associate VP of Philanthropic Giving, the Director collaborates across campus to drive initiatives aligned with the university’s mission and vision. |
