Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry Part-time Lecturer Pool	San Bernardino - San Bernardino Campus
The Department Chemistry and Biochemistry at California State University, San Bernardino is seeking part-time lecturer applications from a diverse group of qualified individuals for both our San Bernardino Campus (SBC) as well as our Palm Desert Campus (PDC). The department is seeking experienced, well-organized, and student-centered individuals to teach in any of our subject areas: General Chemistry, Biochemistry, Organic Chemistry or Analytical Chemistry. Candidates must have at least a Master’s degree, or specialized certification for lecture and/or activity classes, in a field of Chemistry or related discipline. Preference will be given to candidates who have prior teaching experience at the college or university level and who can furnish evidence of strong teaching. Candidates should demonstrate their ability to interact and work effectively with a wide and culturally diverse range of students, including first-generation college students. Preference will be given to those with experience in working with diverse populations and fostering a collaborative, supportive and inclusive environment.
Speaking Center at JHBC Graduate Assistant (GA) Pool	San Bernardino - San Bernardino Campus
The Speaking Center at JHBC seeks to develop students’ oral communication skills. We hire each semester for the positions of graduate assistants (GAs) to serve as communication consultants. Benefits of working with the Center include opportunities to hone public speaking expertise, gain valuable experience as a communication consultant, and help others reach their public speaking goals. The position entails between 8 and 20 hours of work per week and offers flexible hours (Monday-Saturday 8am-7:30pm), a hybrid work schedule that consists of face-to-face and Zoom consultations, and potential Winter intersession and Summer employment (budget contingent). Consultants will provide quality coaching to develop and polish students’ oral communication skills.

Per Diem Nurse Practitioner (Per Diem, Non-Exempt), Student Health Center - Temporary - Palm Desert Campus	San Bernardino - Palm Desert Campus
Under the general supervision of a Physician and direction of the Executive Director, the Nurse Practitioner provides a wide range of primary health care services within the Student Health Center (SHC) including assessment, diagnostic, and preventive and health maintenance services at the Palm Desert Campus. The incumbent works under the supervision of a physician using established standardized procedures and/or process protocols. The Nurse Practitioner collaborates with the SHC Executive Director and their supervising Physician(s) to develop standardized procedures and/or process protocols and scope of practice for their position. The incumbent provides a wide range of primary health care services, such as conducting physical examinations; diagnosing, treating, and managing illnesses and injuries; ordering tests and interpreting the results; and counseling patients on preventive care. This position is primarily located at the Palm Desert campus and may work occasionally on the San Bernardino campus.

The Department of Mathematics seeks Instructional Student Assistants to work as peer tutors in the Math Gym (Tutoring Center). Peer tutors provide walk-in help to students taking mathematics coursework at any level, under the direction of the Math Gym coordinator.
