| The Department of Public Administration is seeking to hire part-time instructors to teach within our NASPAA-accredited MPA program and our newly created Bachelor of Arts in Public Service. All courses are taught online, using the Canvas and Zoom platforms. The MPA program offers seven core courses (History and Theory; Research Methods; Budgeting; Human Resources, Public Management; Policy Analysis; and Strategic Planning) and 5 concentration courses. The department offers concentrations in Leadership, Public Financial Management, Non-Profit Management, HUman Resource Management, and Community Planning and Management. 5 concentration courses. The Department has an existing California County Cohort program serving students from across the state. We are seeking both seasoned public service practitioners and academics who want to engage with and teach the next generation of public service leaders. | Part-time lecturers are solely responsible for teaching their assigned course(s), including teaching all class sessions according to the semester schedule and teaching in the modality assigned to the course. Part-time faculty are expected to be available to students outside of scheduled class sessions for discussion of matters related to instruction, and expected to make course materials available on Canvas. Part-time faculty are responsible for assessing student work and assigning course grades. |

Department of Geological Sciences Teaching Associate (TA) Pool

| CSUSB Geology Teaching Associates (TAs) may be responsible for one or more GEOL 1000L Introductory Geology Laboratory sections, or may support a faculty member in an upper division geology class. TAs teaching GEOL 1000L are solely responsible for their assigned section(s), including being present in person for all class meetings during the semester, being available for meetings with the laboratory coordinator and other teaching assistants, maintaining the shared lab space including cleaning up after assigned lab sections, assessing student work, and meeting with students outside of class during regularly scheduled office hours. TAs supporting an upper division geology class will work with the faculty member teaching the class to determine the TA responsibilities. |

Our Accounting and Finance concentration equips students with the knowledge and skills necessary to address complex accounting and financial challenges. The program emphasizes technical expertise, as well as strong communication skills, ethics, and problem-solving abilities. |
