The Doctorate in Educational Leadership Program seeks dynamic, equity-centered educators to serve as part-time Adjunct Lecturers. Successful candidates will deliver doctoral-level instruction aligned with program standards and provide mentoring and coaching to students. Adjuncts will collaborate with university and community partners to support student success and continuous program improvement.
Dept of Child, Adolescent and Family Studies - Teaching Associate POOL San Bernardino - San Bernardino Campus
Supports faculty members in the delivery of undergraduate or graduate-level courses. Duties typically include leading discussion sections or labs, grading assignments and exams, holding office hours, assisting students with coursework, and helping with course administration. TAs play a key role in enhancing the student learning experience by providing academic support and reinforcing course content under the supervision of the course instructor.
Department of Psychology Teaching Associate (TA) Pool San Bernardino - San Bernardino Campus
Teaching Associate will teach one or more 2-unit lab section(s) of PSYC 3311. This position involves preparing a syllabus and assignments, creating lessons and class activities, attending class weekly for the duration of the semester, grading assignments, holding weekly office hours, and responding to student communication in a timely manner. Teaching Associates will also work closely with the full-time faculty members teaching the 3-unit lecture portion of the class to make sure the lecture and lab coincide.
ASUA-Graduate Assistant - (GA) Pool San Bernardino - San Bernardino Campus
Graduate assistant writing consultants conduct one-to-one writing conferences with undergraduate and graduate students, faculty, and staff from all disciplines providing tutoring that requires knowledge and background beyond that generally possessed by undergraduate consultants. In these conferences, they function as writing consultants who write with, never for, other writers. They serve as the primary writing center resources for graduate students including work with graduate student writers on culminating experiences such as theses, projects, and dissertations. They develop and conduct in-class writing, citation, and peer review workshops. They also develop and present Writing Center and writing process informational workshops for writing classes across disciplines, in addition to presenting workshops and presentations for other campus programs as requested.

The Department Chemistry and Biochemistry at California State University, San Bernardino is seeking part-time lecturer applications from a diverse group of qualified individuals for both our San Bernardino Campus (SBC) as well as our Palm Desert Campus (PDC). The department is seeking experienced, well-organized, and student-centered individuals to teach in any of our subject areas: General Chemistry, Biochemistry, Organic Chemistry or Analytical Chemistry. Candidates must have at least a Master’s degree, or specialized certification for lecture and/or activity classes, in a field of Chemistry or related discipline. Preference will be given to candidates who have prior teaching experience at the college or university level and who can furnish evidence of strong teaching. Candidates should demonstrate their ability to interact and work effectively with a wide and culturally diverse range of students, including first-generation college students. The position entails between 8 and 20 hours of work per week and offers flexible hours (Monday-Saturday 8am-7:30pm), a hybrid work schedule that consists of face-to-face and Zoom consultations, and potential Winter intersession and Summer employment (budget contingent). Consultants will provide quality coaching to develop and polish students’ oral communication skills.

Per Diem Nurse Practitioner (Per Diem, Non-Exempt), Student Health Center - Temporary - Palm Desert Campus San Bernardino - Palm Desert Campus
Under the general supervision of a Physician and direction of the Executive Director, the Nurse Practitioner provides a wide range of primary health care services within the Student Health Center (SHC) including assessment, diagnostic, and preventive and health maintenance services at the Palm Desert Campus. The incumbent works under the supervision of a physician using established standardized procedures and/or process protocols. The Nurse Practitioner collaborates with the SHC Executive Director and their supervising Physician(s) to develop standardized procedures and/or process protocols and scope of practice for their position. The incumbent provides a wide range of primary health care services, such as conducting physical examinations; diagnosing, treating, and managing illnesses and injuries; ordering tests and interpreting the results; and counseling patients on preventive care. This position is primarily located at the Palm Desert campus and may work occasionally on the San Bernardino campus.
