Cinema Tech (Instructional Support Technician III, Non-Exempt) - School of Cinema San Francisco
The School of Cinema’s Instructional Support Technician provides technical and equipment support to Cinema’s film and media production facilities, and to the School Director. This position will oversee safety processes and procedures, maintenance and upgrades of studio spaces and equipment, and work with the Director and department AOC on equipment budgets. The Instructional Support Technician may also be called upon to assist with other academic units outside the School of Cinema.
Conduct Coordinator (Student Services Professional III) - Office of Student Conduct San Francisco
Reporting to the Director of the Office of Student Conduct (OSC), the Conduct Coordinator assist in coordinating the administration of the student conduct process for SF State. The incumbent is responsible for assisting in adjudication and administration of campus wide conduct cases, administrative updates for OSC, campus wide education, and assisting with Formal Hearing Officer training and formal hearings; and provides guidance for Formal Hearing Officers in case preparation and administration. The nature of the work performed by the Conduct Coordinator is highly confidential and sensitive and requires interpretation of CSU, SF State policies and procedures. The incumbent assists in maintaining the student conduct database and performs administrative tasks including producing reports.
Associate Registrar - (Administrator II) - Registrar's Office San Francisco
Reporting to the Assistant Vice President for Enrollment Management and University Registrar, the Associate Registrar is part of the leadership teams for both the Office of the Registrar and Enrollment Management. As a leader in the office, they advise on procedures, make recommendations, and assess impacts in their area of responsibility. The Associate Registrar promotes student success and continuously improves SF State’s systems, processes, and services. They also handle escalated situations with students, faculty, or other stakeholders, providing support and deescalating as necessary. The Associate Registrar manages and oversees the staff and systems supporting the Academic Advisement and Degree Planner modules in Campus Solutions (CS), as well as the undergraduate graduation process. They must be familiar with registrar-related modules within CS, including Academic Advisement, Student Records, and Degree Planner. They lead a curriculum working group between the Division of Undergraduate Education and Academic Planning and the Registrar’s Office. The Associate Registrar collaborates with the Student Records Functional Business Analyst and Academic Advising on a routine basis. The Registrar’s Office also uses a legacy system for research, OnBase for scanned documents, and Microsoft Office, and the Associate Registrar must be able to use these systems capably.

Under direct supervision of the Associate Director for Housekeeping, it is the primary responsibility of the Housekeeper to clean and sanitize assigned areas, including both public and private locations managed by Housing, Dining & Conference Services. The Housekeeper will maintain the cleanliness including, but not limited to the restrooms, shower areas, lobbies, hallways, offices, conference areas, and other common spaces. Reports on equipment and supply needs, safeguarding assigned areas from unauthorized use and access, and reports on facilities repair needs. In addition, the incumbent performs specialized cleaning in preparing housing units for resident move-in and short-term guests.
Financial Aid Counselor - (Student Services Professional II) - Office of Student Financial Aid San Francisco
Reporting to the Director of the Office of Student Financial Aid (OSFA), the Financial Aid Counselor counsels students and parents on federal, State and University financial aid policies and procedures, reviews student/parent documents with financial aid application to determine eligibility and award financial aid to qualified students; assumes responsibility for one or more specialized programs; reviews student/parent appeals and administers professional judgement on a case-by-case basis; and conducts financial aid workshops both on and off campus.

Academic Counselor - (Student Services Professional III) - College Advising San Francisco
The Academic Counselor provides comprehensive academic counseling to help undergraduate students achieve their academic, personal and career goals. This position works on a college advising team (Lam Family College of Business, College of Ethnic Studies, College of Liberal and Creative Arts, College of Health and Social Sciences, College of Science and Engineering, or the Graduate College of Education) within the Undergraduate Advising Center and advises students from their third through graduation. The incumbent collaborates with faculty, staff, and administrators to ensure student retention and success from entry through graduation. The Academic Counselor delivers general advising services, advises at new student orientations, participates in student retention and graduation initiatives, and offers academic success workshops.
