Community Engagement & Learning Coordinator (Administrative Analyst/Specialist - Exempt I) - Institute for Civic and Community Engagement

| Under the general direction of the Executive Director of the Institute for Civic & Community Engagement (ICCE), the Community Engagement & Learning Coordinator provides essential coordination and infrastructure support for SF State’s community-based learning initiatives through a combination of faculty engagement, community partnership development, and data-informed program administration. This role manages student placements through SF State’s community engagement platform (ULink), oversees CSU-mandated risk compliance processes, and supports faculty with course attribution, site matching, and grant coordination. The coordinator develops and maintains community partnerships, plans ICCE events such as the Service & Internship Fair, and facilitates training and outreach to students, faculty, and partners. Additionally, the position is responsible for institutional reporting, tracking engagement metrics, and producing ICCE’s Annual Impact Report. This is a fast-paced, collaborative role that supports equity-focused high-impact practices, the university’s civic learning goals, and the CSU Chancellor’s Office Community-Engaged Learning Initiative. |

Community Service Specialist - (Community Service Specialist) - University Police

| The Community Service Specialist serves as a visible security presence on the campus, and within its buildings as assigned, performs security services such as patrolling campus on foot, bike or vehicle to protect campus community and visitors, provides public safety support and assistance to campus police, enforces campus ordinances and parking regulations, and issues citations to violators. Incumbent also provides information to the University Police Department (UPD) regarding any unusual occurrences and/or activities on and around campus. |

| The Academic Counselor reports directly to an advising manager within the Division of Undergraduate Education and Academic Planning. The position functions under general supervision, but with a high degree of autonomy. This position requires strong judgment, flexibility, persuasiveness, and imagination in order to develop and institute a coordinated advising approach at SF State. The incumbent will need to apply careful administrative planning when cultivating and launching creative solutions to address specific advising problems and to implement new advising initiatives. |

| The Building Operations Coordinator provides support, planning, and outreach for the College of Science and Engineering. This position is responsible for planning, development, evaluation, and management of the college's physical operations, and technical programs and is the primary contact for all facilities-related issues and service requests, providing leadership with a broad impact in ensuring the overall condition of instructional spaces and offices that meet the needs of students, faculty, and staff. This person will prepare and implement preventive maintenance schedules, ensure that facilities follow safety standards and conform to specifications, track work orders, and oversee that projects are completed within the budgeted guidelines. |
