Senior Construction Manager San José
San José State University is looking for a Senior Construction Manager to join the Facilities Operation & Development Team! In this position, you will be responsible for all efforts associated with successfully managing multiple University development and construction projects. If you have a Bachelor's degree and five years of project management experience then we want to hear from you.
Custodian San José
Join our Facilities Development and Operations team as a Custodian! Responsibilities include sweeping, vacuuming, cleaning carpets, mopping, waxing, and polishing floors; maintaining classrooms, labs, lavatories, locker rooms, blackboards, windows, and blinds; restocking supplies, emptying wastebaskets, and removing trash/recycling.
Facilities Maintenance Mechanic - Mechanical San José
The Facilities Maintenance Mechanic is assigned to the HVAC & System Controls Shop, this journey-level position works under general supervision to perform skilled preventive and general maintenance, repair, construction, and renovation of facilities and systems, with a focus on electro-mechanical trades. Works independently or as part of a team with expertise in one trade and strong skills in others.
Facilities Worker II (3 Positions) San José
The Facility Worker II independently performs a wide range of semi-skilled and basic skilled facilities and related systems and infrastructure maintenance, repair and renovation work which does not require journey-level skills. The incumbent must be able to perform basic trade work in three or more trades; analyze and troubleshoot problems across multiple trade functions; perform necessary repairs independently; and perform other related facilities and systems support functions as assigned.
Lead Custodian San José
Under the general supervision of the Custodial Crew Manager, the Lead Custodian performs a full range of custodial duties to maintain the cleanliness, safety, and operational readiness of university facilities. Working independently or as part of a team, the incumbent cleans and maintains campus buildings, classrooms, restrooms, offices, and public areas while providing leadership, training, and support to custodial staff.
