It is the first library in the United States to integrate the services and collections of a major university and public library system. | The temporary Painter performs journey-level painting and finishing work independently or as part of a team. Responsibilities include applying finishes, hanging wall coverings, mixing paints, surface prep (e.g., blasting), setting up scaffolding/rigging, and painting signage and markings. The role also covers material selection, inspections for quality and compliance, project estimating, shop support, equipment maintenance, safety adherence, recordkeeping, reporting, and collaboration with other trades. |
