Assignments Coordinator San José
Reporting to the Senior Director, University Housing, the Assignments Coordinator performs duties under general supervision but works independently to maintain the assignment aspect of resident accounts, including processing manual and automated assignments, administering processes to address retention and recruitment of residents, and otherwise supporting the administrative functions for housing assignments as well as housing managed parking areas.
Auto/Equipment Mechanic San José
Join the San José State Facilities Development & Operations team as an Automotive/Equipment Mechanic, working independently or collaboratively in the Auto Shop to perform journey-level maintenance and repairs on automotive and heavy equipment. You’ll diagnose issues, complete minor to major repairs, and support preventive maintenance using computerized systems. This role also includes inspections, compliance testing, and maintaining detailed service records.
Sergeant (3 Positions) San José
The Sergeant is responsible for supervision of an assigned shift of officers and support personnel and is responsible for the protection of life and property and enforcement of pertinent laws within the jurisdiction of the University Police Department.
Police Lieutenant San José
The Police Lieutenant is responsible for providing leadership, management and motivation within the University Police Department. The Police Lieutenant will be responsible for oversight and administration of either a Patrol Division Watch, Administrative Division or the Investigations Division.
