Reporting to the Associate Director, Building Infrastructure Trades, The Facilities Control Specialist is responsible for the installation, maintenance, adjustment and repair of electric, electronic, pneumatic and digitally controlled building automation systems, which manage the most complex HVAC and refrigeration systems.
Senior Accounting and Business Services Specialist San José
Under the oversight of the Director of Administrative Services, the Senior Accounting and Business Services Specialist oversees a variety of broad and complex financial, accounting and budgeting services related to trust, bond, general fund, and auxiliary accounts. Provides lead group direction and day-to-day financial oversight of budget, payroll, accounting, project accounting, procurement, and cost recovery. Provides strategic leadership and analysis in the utilization of information systems within the department and input to recommended policies that have a major operational impact.
MLML Dive MOU Program Assistant (Temp) San José - Moss Landing Marine Lab
This is a temporary, part-time (0.75 FTE), fully benefited position. The compensation rate reflects a 0.75 FTE. Moss Landing Marine Laboratories is seeking a Dive MOU Program Assistant to help support its collaborative Scientific Diving Program with SFSU and Sonoma State University. This hands-on role combines scientific diving with essential coordination of dive plans, training, certifications, vessel use, and communication across partner campuses. Candidates will also provide administrative support for gear, equipment, and operational needs.
Department Coordinator San José
The Department Coordinator independently provides various administrative and support services to the Department Chair, Administrative Analyst, faculty, and students of the Communications Studies Department as well as responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the department office and works collaboratively with the Department Analyst to support the department.
Laborer San José
The laborer performs manual labor including moving heavy furniture and equipment, assisting with event setup, and loading/unloading materials. Cleans and maintains assigned areas removing debris, power washing, clearing gutters and drainage, and hauling waste and recyclables. Supports construction and grounds crews with basic tasks such as site prep, rough repairs, demolition, pavement patching, pruning, and debris removal. Operates and performs basic maintenance on hand tools and power equipment.
