SPEAKS Field Placement Coordinator

| Reporting to the Director of Resources & Operations with work lead direction from the SPEAKS Director, the SPEAKS Placement Coordinator provides strategic direction, operational oversight, and will serve as the main point of contact for arranging student clinician placements each semester. The SPEAKS Placement Coordinator will work primarily with school district administrators, site principals, and mentor clinicians to maintain positive site-university relationships to support the quantity, quality, and variety of field placements needed such that SJSU remains a high priority for partner sites (i.e., school districts, private practices, medical sites). |

Residential Engagement Coordinator

| Under the supervision of the Assistant Director of Educational Development, the Residential Engagement Coordinator is responsible for the advising and oversight of student leadership organization as well as the creation and management of an ongoing series of social and educational engagement opportunities for the students of University Housing Services. The Residential Engagement Coordinator will interface with campus constituents to represent the department on various university committees. |

Painter, Temporary

| Reporting to the Associate Director of Architectural Trades & Auto Shop and under the lead direction of the Lead Painter, the painter independently or collaboratively performs skilled journey-level painting and finishing using brush, roll, spray, and electro-static methods. Duties include hanging paper; mixing and matching paints; sand and water blasting; erecting scaffolding or rigging; painting signs and roadway markings; selecting and storing materials; inspecting work for code compliance; reviewing contractor work; estimating project costs and timelines; maintaining paint shop operations; cleaning tools and equipment; following safety procedures; maintaining a safe workspace; and using manual or computerized systems to track work and prepare reports. |
