Locksmith San José
The Locksmith, reporting to the Associate Director of Architectural Trades & Auto Services, works independently or with a team under the Lead Locksmith in the Lock Shop of Maintenance & Operations. This role involves skilled locksmith tasks, including the installation, repair, and maintenance of manual and automated locks, security devices, and access control systems. Responsibilities include cutting keys, troubleshooting computerized systems, and servicing automatic doors and safes. The Locksmith may also provide guidance to unskilled and semi-skilled assistants.
Custodian San José
Join our Facilities Development and Operations team as a Custodian! Responsibilities include sweeping, vacuuming, cleaning carpets, mopping, waxing, and polishing floors; maintaining classrooms, labs, lavatories, locker rooms, blackboards, windows, and blinds; restocking supplies, emptying wastebaskets, and removing trash/recycling.
Program Coordinator, Native American Indigenous Student Success Center San José
Under the general supervision of the Program Director for the Native American Indigenous Student Success Center (NAISSC), the Program Coordinator is responsible for providing support with the planning, coordination, implementation, and assessment of student success programs and workshops that serve Native American Indigenous students.
Facilities Maintenance Mechanic San José
The Facilities Maintenance Mechanic in the Energy and Utilities unit works independently or as part of a team under the Utilities Operations Supervisor. This skilled generalist uses journey-level mechanical or plumbing skills, along with expertise in other trades, to perform preventive and general maintenance, repair, construction, and renovation on utility systems. Responsibilities include maintaining equipment for steam heating, chilled water, drainage, water distribution, and fire alarm/security networks to ensure a clean, safe campus. The mechanic also uses a computerized maintenance system for preventive tasks.
Physical Therapist (Temp) San José
The Physical Therapist treats biomechanical, muscular-skeletal dysfunctions of patients referred by Student Wellness Center health providers. The Physical Therapist will assess patient needs upon referral, develop a variety of short and long-term treatment goals, and plan and implement the appropriate treatment program utilizing a variety of professional physical therapy procedures.
