The Lead Carpenter, assigned to the Carpenter Shop within the Maintenance & Operations unit of Facilities Development & Operations, works under general supervision and provides lead direction for journey-level crafts workers and semi-skilled assistants, laying out and coordinating the work flow for the shop, preparing materials lists, and ordering supplies in addition to performing work as a skilled carpenter.
