Lecturer - PSYC 220: Introductory Statistics in Psychology (Fall 2026) San Marcos
The Department of Psychology at California State University San Marcos seeks a part-time lecturer for Fall 2026 to teach PSYC 220: Introductory Statistics in Psychology. Salary is commensurate with credential and experience. The course teaches basic statistical methods for analysis of data in psychology; descriptive and inferential statistics; hypothesis testing; parametric tests of significance. Introduction to linear regression and correlation; analysis of variance; nonparametric techniques. The requirements will include participation in low-risk psychological experiments or completion of additional short papers. Two hours of lecture Two hours of activities.

Lecturer Pool - Environment and Geography AY 2026/27 San Marcos
The Environment and Geography Department at California State University San Marcos accepts applications on an on-going basis for our pool of part-time lecturers for Environment and Geography courses. Salary is commensurate with credentials and experience. Applicant pools are used to fill short-term temporary Lecturer positions across our campus with the possibility of rehiring. Appointments may last from one day to a whole semester. This applicant pool may be used to fill vacant positions on an as-needed basis throughout the academic year. Applications in this pool ad will only be good for the current academic year. This pool will be closed effective May 31st. If you wish to be considered for the next academic year, you will need to apply to the new pool as it becomes available by June 15th.

The Department of Kinesiology at California State University San Marcos seeks a part-time lecturer for the Fall 2026 semester to teach KINE 181 and 181L: Human Anatomy and Physiology Lecture and Lab. Students enroll in lecture and lab to reinforce knowledge and provide hands on education in Anatomy and Physiology. This is the first course in a two part Anatomy and Physiology Series. An ideal candidate could teach the lecture and all lab courses but multiple instructors may be selected based on availability.
Lecturer - AIS 130: Environmental Justice, Racism, and Settler Colonialism (Fall 2026) San Marcos
The Department of American Indian Studies at California State University San Marcos seeks a part-time lecturer for Fall 2026 to teach Lecturer- AIS 130: Environmental Justice, Racism, and Settler Colonialism. The course explores the different articulations of environmental justice (EJ) for American Indian people compared to EJ for other communities. Situating settler colonialism as the origin of environmental injustice, genocide, and land dispossession as its constituent components are viewed as an ongoing process and structure that keeps American Indian and Alaskan Native people locked into struggles against extractive industries and a racist legal system as mechanisms of the capitalist settler state. Highlights Indigenous resistance and resiliency. A master's degree or equivalent in American Indian Studies or related discipline  Per the California State University’s Out-of-State Employment Policy, the CSU is prohibited from hiring employees to perform CSU-related work outside California. Working in the State of California is a condition of employment.
