Lecturer - TA 307: On-Camera Acting (Fall 2026) San Marcos
The Theatre Department at California State University San Marcos is seeking a part-time lecturer in Fall 2026 to teach TA 307: On-Camera Acting. The course meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1:00 to 2:50 pm. The course provides hands-on experience in acting for film and television. Students will work in various genres (e.g., commercials, romantic comedy, drama, etc.) discuss acting techniques as they apply to film performance via practical projects, reading, written assignments and critiques. Applicants must have university teaching experience and must have an MFA or equivalent professional experience.
Custodian (3rd Shift), Facility Services (2 Positions) San Marcos
Under the supervision of the Manager of Custodial Services, the Custodian performs a full range of cleaning and maintenance duties, ensuring facilities are safe, clean, and properly set up for events and moves.
Data Architect and Team Lead, Instructional and Information Technology Services San Marcos
Serves as the university’s senior technical leader for enterprise data architecture, driving campus data platform strategy, governance, and scalable analytics solutions in alignment with CSU systemwide initiatives.
Police Officer (Lateral/P.O.S.T. Certified), University Police Department (3 ) San Marcos
Performs supervised campus patrol and law enforcement duties to protect the university community and property, enforce laws and regulations, assist the public, and complete required reports and documentation.
Police Dispatcher I (Hourly/Intermittent), University Police Department San Marcos
The University Police Department is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for the university community of Cal State San Marcos.
