Assistant Professor of American Indian Studies San Marcos
The Department of American Indian Studies (AIS) at the California State University San Marcos (CSUSM) is located on the traditional territory and homelands of the Luiseño/Payómkawichum people this land remains the shared space among the Kuupangaxwichem/Cupeño and Kumeyaay and Ipai peoples. The AIS department invites applications for two tenure-track positions in American Indian Studies. We seek individuals with a commitment to the enhancement of our American Indian Studies major and department. This position is an excellent opportunity for scholars interested in a career at a teaching-centered institution that is home to the largest per capita American Indian student population in California.
Prevention and Education Coordinator, Student Affairs San Marcos
Under the general direction of the Interim Assistant Vice President for Title IX & DHR, the Prevention and Education Coordinator will provide strategic planning, leadership, and coordination of campus wide efforts to develop, implement, and assess evidence-based prevention education resources, programs, initiatives, and awareness campaigns designed to prevent sexual misconduct, discrimination, harassment, and retaliation and promote a safe living, learning, and working environment in alignment with federal and state laws as well as CSU Systemwide policies.
Lecturer - SLP 665: Speech-Language Pathology Services for Cleft Palate and Craniofacial Anomalies (Summer 2025) San Marcos
The Department of Speech-Language Pathology at California State University San Marcos seeks a part­-time Lecturer for Summer 2025 to teach SLP 665: Speech-Language Pathology Services for Cleft Palate and Craniofacial Anomalies. The course teaches the anatomy and physiology of craniofacial features, in addition to etiology, principles of speech-language pathology assessment and treatment, and care of disorders associated with clefts and craniofacial anomalies.
Visiting Faculty for Speech-Language Pathology Lecturer AY 2024/25 San Marcos
CSUSM is searching for a Visiting Faculty member for a one-year full time position. The successful candidate may teach courses in any of our three programs (BS, Prep and/or MS in SLP) and in multiple modalities (live and/or hybrid) and will receive mentorship in strategies to enhance student success and learning outcomes. The successful candidate will mentor students and contribute to activities serving the Department, College, University, and external community.
Lecturer - SLP 481: Seminar in Audiology (Summer 2025) San Marcos
The Department of Speech-Language Pathology at California State University San Marcos seeks a Part Time Lecturer for the for Summer 2025 to teach SLP 481: Seminar in Audiology. The course develops skills in conducting a basic audiometric evaluation. Introduces the professional responsibilities of an audiologist, role of the educational audiologist in various practice settings, and the implications of deaf and hard-of-hearing status on mainstreaming children into classrooms, and adults into workplace and social settings.
