The School of Nursing at California State University San Marcos seeks a part-time lecturer to teach a Psych/Mental Health clinical course. Clinical days, hours, and clinical sites vary within San Diego County and Riverside County.
Lecturer Pool - Psychiatric/Mental Health for Nurse Practitioner Field Study AY 2024/25 San Marcos
The School of Nursing at California State University San Marcos seeks a part-time lecturer to teach the Psych/Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Field Study courses: NURS 583, NURS 533C, NURS 535C, and NURS 539C. These are supervisory courses; each student is placed with a clinical preceptor. The faculty in this position will provide 10-15 hours of supervision per course, inclusive of four (4) face-to-face group supervisory sessions per semester, led by the PHMNP Program Coordinator. Faculty also conduct a minimum of two (2) on site visits with the student and the preceptor, and clinical sites vary within San Diego and Riverside Counties.

The Department of Biological Sciences at California State University San Marcos accepts applications on an on-going basis for our pool of part-time lecturers. Applicant pools are used to fill short-term temporary Lecturer positions across our campus with the possibility of rehiring. Appointments may last from one day to a whole semester. This applicant pool may be used to fill vacant positions on an as-needed basis throughout the academic year.  Applications in this pool ad will only be good for the current academic year. This pool will be closed effective May 31st.  If you wish to be considered for the next academic year, you will need to apply to the new pool as it becomes available by June 15th.
