College readiness, academic excellence, and character development are the focus for participants in the Program. The Summer Academy is an intensive 6-week enrichment program where students take classes to sharpen their academic skills while residing on campus at the University of Dayton to have a collegiate experience. |

| The instructor position exists as a requirement for the administration of the Upward Bound program at the University of Dayton. The approved grant proposal stipulates that the program will provide instruction during the academic year and summer components for program students who are high school students in the qualified Dayton Public Schools. This is a grant funded position and contingent upon those funds associated with the grant. There is a need for Language Arts, Math, Science and Spanish instructors. Therefore, those that possess these backgrounds will be strongly considered. Our instructors will teach for a total of 5 weeks, 1-3 hours per day for 4 days per week. |
