Position Summary:

Join the University of Dayton's Facilities Management & Planning Division as a Support Services Administrator! At the University of Dayton, we are dedicated to fostering a vibrant and inclusive community that encourages personal and professional growth. As a Support Services Administrator within our Facilities Management & Planning division, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation of our campus facilities, supporting our commitment to providing an exceptional learning and working environment.

This position will serve as the first point of contact for faculty/staff/students and guests, providing outstanding service in a warm and professional manner. Responsible for screening guests and all incoming calls to the Facilities Management & Planning Department. Serves as a backup for the FM Call Center in receiving work order requests and assigning them to trades. Clerical responsibilities including filing, sorting of invoices, and maintaining data records in the FM work order system.

Minimum Qualifications:

- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 3 years customer service experience.
- Computer skills and experience (including Microsoft, Word, Excel, and Power Point).
- Must have experience dealing with difficult internal and external customers.
- Must have excellent written communication skills.
- Must have a valid driver’s license with a low risk driving record.

Preferred Qualifications:

While not everyone may possess all of the preferred qualifications, the ideal candidate will bring many of the following:

- A minimum of five years of successful customer service experience.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- The ability to work well with diverse groups.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Must project a professional image.
- Experience with Google applications: mail, calendar, docs, sheets, etc.
- Working knowledge of work order management system.
