Position Summary: The Assistant Women's Soccer coach assists the head coach in nearly all aspects of our Division I program. The assistant coach will primarily instruct, train and coach student athletes about collegiate women's soccer, the game and the skills required, and also instruct student athletes for purposes of academic, social development, compliance requirements, and safety and health considerations. The assistant coach will assist in recruiting quality Division I soccer student athletes and will assist the head coach in program leadership, including team composition, scheduling and competition strategies and obtaining peak athletic performance. The assistant coach will assist with program operations, including travel arrangements and video needs and will perform additional duties related to coaching (e.g., compliance education, budget management, donor relations, equipment procurement, and other duties as assigned by head coach). All University of Dayton employees are expected to comply with all laws, policies, rules and regulations governing the University, the NCAA and the Atlantic 1 . The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate expertise in all aspects of coaching student athletes and demonstrate a commitment to the highest ideals of leadership, sportsmanship and academics with demonstrated and successful experience working with people from a variety of backgrounds. 
Minimum Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree
- Intercollegiate athletics experience with proven ability to recruit and assist in coaching a dedicated women's soccer program in NCAA Championship competition
- NCAA women's soccer experience in recruiting
- Able to demonstrate excellent written communication skills
- Valid driver's license, maintains a low risk record and is able to be certified by the University

Preferred Qualifications:

While not everyone may possess all of the preferred qualifications, the ideal candidate will bring many of the following:

- Sports science background to assist with periodization and analytics to enhance environment and performance for our student-athletes
- Division I women's soccer coaching experience
- Able to demonstrate good organizational, interpersonal and computer skills
