| Position Summary: |
Join the team behind the action! The Arena Office Assistant is a position that has the following functions: Assisting the ticket office with basic ticket support (printing tickets, customer payments, mobile device help, etc.), Lounge Coordinator (responsible for lounge rentals, which includes showing space to potential clients, preparing contracts and invoicing), Receptionist (answering phones for the ticket office, greeting guests, and coordinating radio calls), and settling concessions operations (reconcile concession transactions after events). |
| Minimum Qualifications: |
- High school diploma - 2 years successful experience as a receptionist/secretary demonstrating composure and professionalism in difficult situations within a fast paced, high stressed, and challenging environment - Strong verbal and written communication skills. - Able to prioritize in stressful situations. - Expertise in computer software: word processing and spreadsheet programs, operate general office machinery and possess a willingness to learn software and hardware operations in areas of inexperience - Ability to work nights and weekends as needed

While not everyone may possess all of the preferred qualifications, the ideal candidate will bring many of the following:
- College degree or successful completion of some college/post secondary coursework in business related programs - Knowledge of administrative processes and procedures at the University of Dayton - Work experience in a fast paced, energetic environment along side professional, non professional staff - Basic ticketing background or knowledge - Experience with Point of Sale software
