The Director of Orthodontics provides academic leadership for the predoctoral orthodontics program within the College of Dental Medicine. Reporting to the Associate Dean for Clinical Practice, the Director is responsible for the development, implementation, assessment, and continuous improvement of the orthodontic curriculum and clinical education program. The Director ensures that students develop the knowledge, clinical judgment, technical skills, and professional competencies necessary to diagnose, prevent, and manage orthodontic conditions using evidence-based, patient-centered approaches.
The Director collaborates with academic and clinical faculty to integrate orthodontics throughout the predoctoral curriculum, promote interdisciplinary education, and ensure compliance with Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) standards and University policies. This position supports excellence in teaching, scholarship, curriculum innovation, faculty development, and student success while advancing the mission and educational goals of the College of Dental Medicine. |

The Registered Dental Hygienist, Practice 1 is a faculty position responsible for providing comprehensive preventive and therapeutic dental hygiene services while supporting the educational, clinical, and service missions of the YUCDM. The position combines direct patient care along with instruction, supervision, mentoring, and evaluation of dental students in a comprehensive academic clinical environment.
Responsibilities include comprehensive oral health assessments, preventive dental care, non-surgical periodontal therapy, radiographic procedures, digital diagnostics, patient education, recall management, and compliance with New York State laws, accepted standards of practice, and University policies. |

| This position will help produce and coordinate a high volume of law school events, including our annual commencement, interacting with vendors, students, faculty, staff and alumni. This role will assist in tracking catering requisitions and invoice payments; overseeing the daily events email sent to the student body; and managing supplies and inventory. Serves as a liaison between students, faculty, administrators, alumni, vendors, and campus partners, collaborating across departments on a wide range of events. This position exercises a high degree of teamwork in managing multiple priorities, resolving day-to-day operational issues, coordinating vendors, and monitoring event-related expenditures, while referring complex or policy-related matters to the Director of Special Events. |
