Work Schedule:

Monday - Friday 8 am to 5 pm. 

Ability to work a flexible schedule which includes days/evenings/weekends as needed by the department.

Rate of Pay:

This position is a grade 14 with a minimum of $49,575. Salary  offer will be commensurate with the education/experience, in alignment with the College’s compensation philosophy, and the current CBA, if applicable.

Job Summary:

An employee in this class performs work of moderate difficulty by implementing a comprehensive constituent relations programs for the College’s Foundation.  Work is distinguished by the ability to design, plan, and execute a high-level donor relations program that results in donor retention and upgrading, responsible for meeting fundraising and engagement goals, including personal solitacian efforts, collaborating with other departments, members of the college. General supervision is received from the assigned supervisor.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  1. Bachelor’s degree with 3 - 5 years of experience in development, alumni relations, business development/sales, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
  2. Considerable skill in project management.
  3. Considerable skill organizing work in order to meet established deadlines.
  4. Considerable skill in problem solving and decision-making regarding issues related to the scope of position.
  5. Considerable skills in all forms of communications.
  6. Considerable skill to handle multiple tasks and responsibilities simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
  7. Considerable skill in developing and maintaining positive and professional relationships with internal and external from diverse populations.
  8. Considerable skill in the use of a personal computer, MS Office Suite, constituent relations programs (CRM), and other applicable software, as well as learning and adapting to new and updated programs and technology.
  9. Ability to work a flexible schedule which includes days/evenings/weekends as needed by the department.

Desired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  1. Salesforce and related applications experience.
  2. Volunteer management experience.

Essential Duties:

  1. Develops, maintains, and executes constituent relations programs for ECC and the ECC Foundation, including designing, planning, and executing a high-level donor relations program that results in donor retention and upgrading, proven by fundraising outcome metrics, overseeing and executing alumni relations, women’s giving, family relations, and retiree relations programs, and planning and executing high-level constituent engagement activities including events and interactive communications, such a social media.
  2. Assists with Foundation fundraising events including Gala, Annual Golf Outing, and other events as applicable. Assists with recruitment and training of volunteers for committees and event support. 
  3. Oversee high-level communications plans and execution (in collaboration with Marketing and Communications) for the entire department to all relevant constituent groups (donors, alumni, families, retirees, women’s giving circles, etc.)
  1. Maintains required training, licensure and/or certification.
  2. Demonstrates sensitivity, understanding and respect of diverse populations within the workplace.
  3. Maintains an understanding of the work of colleagues to effectively provide back-up and/or support for co-workers during times when the division is short-staffed or experiencing an increased volume of work.
  1. Demonstrates independent judgment and discretion in making position related decisions.
