This position is a grade 13 with a minimum of $43,350 with a mid-point of $57,800. Salary offer will be commensurate with the education/experience, in alignment with the College’s compensation philosophy, and the current CBA, if applicable.

Job Summary:
|
An employee in this classification performs work of moderate difficulty to develop, promote, market, program and competitively price non-credit or credit free classes and programs. Work is distinguished by the ability to generate revenue and minimize operating expenses to help achieve the operating parameters of the department. General supervision is received by the assigned manager.
|
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
|
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Considerable skills in financial management and budgets.
- Considerable skill in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite, including but not limited to Word, Excel, Access, and Publisher
- Considerable skill in organizing work to meet established deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
- Considerable skills in customer service.
- Working skills in interpersonal interaction to be applied to various individuals with differing education, ethnic and socio-economic backgrounds.
- Working skills in verbal and written communication.
- Working skills in operating a personal computer, applicable software, and peripheral equipment as well as learning and adapting to new and updated programs and technology.
- Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends when required by the department’s needs.

Desired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

- Master degree or equivalent.
- Experience in Continuing Education and Course Development in higher education
- Working knowledge of integrated data management systems such as Colleague

Essential Duties:
|
1. Oversee training and development courses and programs as assigned. 2. Research and implement new courses and programs. 3. Recruit and interview instructors for teaching courses and programs. 4. Develop tactical and strategic marketing and promotional programs. 5. Research and resolve space availability issues. 6. Represent the department in meetings (internal or external) as requested by the Director or Dean 7. Generate revenue and minimize operating expenses to help achieve the department’s operating parameters. 8. Collect course or program evaluation data, generate course/instructor assessment and evaluation reports and make recommendations for improvements. 9. Maintains required training, licensure and/or certifications 10. Maintains confidentiality of privileged information and adheres to applicable privacy laws 11. Demonstrates sensitivity, understanding and respect of diverse populations within the workplace. 12. Maintains an understanding of the work of colleagues to effectively provide backup and/or support for co-workers during times when the division is short-staffed or experiencing an increased volume of work. 13.
