Job Summary:

An employee in this classification performs work of routine difficulty by supporting day to day operations of the Human Resources file room including personnel file creation, organization and audit. Work is distinguished by the ability to coordinate workload to meet established deadlines with the utmost accuracy. Immediate supervision is received from the assigned department manager.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  1. Experience in a similar position is desirable.
  2. Some knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications.
  3. Working skill in written and verbal communication
  4. Considerable skill in organization and time management.
  5. Considerable skill in attention to detail.
  6. Ability to maintain confidentiality of information.
   

Essential Duties:

  1. Create or update records with new files and information.
  2. Sort all documents in files according to content, dates and significance.
  3. Ensure that all paperwork is filed in correct designated storage areas.
  4. Assist HR team on file requests.
  5. Maintain a high level of confidentiality to safeguard employee information.

Other Duties:

Other duties as assigned that pertain to the job description.
Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the department.
