First Wave Graduate Mentor summary: The OMAI Graduate Mentor (First Year Scholars) is a graduate student at UW-Madison who has interest in creating, cultivating, and executing student support services, one-on-one mentorship undergraduate students of diverse identities, and instructing a first year seminar to develop skills for academic success. The Graduate Mentor is generally responsible for the execution of one-on-one mentorship and instructing the “First Wave Foundations” first-year seminar in partnership with the OMAI student-support staff.
