The Student Orientation, Advising, and Registration (SOAR) program, operated by the Office of Student Transition and Family Engagement (OSTFE), welcomes more than 18,000 students and family members during the summer months. Orientation Leaders (OLs) are essential members of the SOAR team. They directly support the newest class of Badgers and their supporters during their transition to UW-Madison by welcoming participants, facilitating the program content, assisting with logistics and operations, and ensuring the SOAR program runs smoothly.
