Our mission is to support learning and neurodiversity by providing students opportunities and resources for personal growth, academic skill building, and connection.
Working under the Dean of Student's office in Student Affairs and Inclusive Excellence, The Learning Effectiveness Program (LEP) has developed some of the most comprehensive and innovative support services provided at the post-secondary level. Our nationally recognized program serves over 350 students each year.
The Learning Effectiveness Program (LEP) at the University of Denver is now hiring tutors for the upcoming 2024-2025 academic year. We need tutors who have a strong background in college-level Business, Engineering/Computer Science, Humanities, Languages, Mathematics, Science, and Social Sciences from entry-level to advanced level. This position works under the direction of the Tutoring Coordinator and LEP Associate Director. LEP Tutors assist students in building confidence, independence, and academic skills in a one-on-one setting. Tutors are also responsible for providing students with access to resources that will encourage them to achieve academic goals. |

The GSSW Field Liaison is an adjunct faculty member that teaches as part of the field course sequence (SOWK 4950 Foundation Internship/SOWK 4970 Concentration Internship). The Field Liaison is the University of Denver Graduate School of Social Work’s representative to the field placement agency and is expected to serve as a consultant to both the agency supervisor(s) and the student. In addition, the Liaison serves as the primary link in the internship triad of student, agency/field instructor and the Graduate School of Social Work. The primary purpose of the Field Liaison is to monitor the educational field placement experience to ensure a quality learning experience and be proactively in communication with the student and the agency supervisor throughout the duration of the internship. |

The shuttle driver will be responsible for pick-up and drop-off of students, staff, faculty, and other members of the DU community on a fixed route and on-demand service. They will be responsible for providing directions and high-quality customer service to members of the DU community; operating a mobile device, maintaining accurate ridership logs via a software application, operation of an ADA wheelchair lift, and daily inspections of the University vehicle. |
