About the role
In this role, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end recruitment for a designated portfolio. You’ll work closely with hiring managers, offering expert advice on talent decisions to ensure alignment with the City’s values, behaviours, and leadership capabilities. Your role will be key in delivering a seamless and efficient experience for both candidates and stakeholders.
Work type: Temporary Full Time - 6 Month Opportunity
Classification: Commencing at $103,066.18 pa plus super
Key responsibilities include:
- Building effective relationships, contributing to a positive team culture, and delivering end-to-end recruitment processes aligned with the City’s objectives and values, while ensuring a seamless candidate experience.
- Developing and implementing recruitment strategies aligned with departmental goals, supporting diversity objectives, and managing talent sourcing and pipelines.
- Providing expert advice on hiring, conducting assessments, ensuring compliance, and managing onboarding while maintaining stakeholder relationships.
- Supporting business and Talent Acquisition plans, monitoring progress, driving continuous improvement, and managing projects to optimise quality, cost, and efficiency.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will have demonstrated people skills to support, influence and collaborate with relevant stakeholders with effective time management ability.
Essential Experience:
- Demonstrated successful experience in collaborating and influencing stakeholders to achieve business objectives through Talent Acquisition.
- Effective problem solving and stakeholder management skills to work effectively with diverse stakeholders to achieve task outcomes.
- Developed writing and speaking skills to align with stakeholders and achieve support for task outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently or in a team environment as required by the task.
- Preferred candidates will be required to undergo a National Police Check as part of the recruitment process (funded by the City).
