We are looking for a Business Analyst who is experienced in analysing and identifying business needs and improvements, to assist with driving efficiencies across internal processes and improving technology platforms and products.

You'll be responsible for gathering requirements, documenting process, design and architecture, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. If you are knowledgeable in business process improvement, software development life cycle methodologies, and experienced in creating commercial business cases to understand the ROI of opportunities, please apply!

 

Day to day:

• Gather and document business requirements and translate them into functional specifications
• Participate in and contribute to the Business Analyst Community of Practice
• Develop use cases and process flows to support the development of software solutions
• Conduct stakeholder interviews to understand business needs and pain points
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure that project objectives are aligned with business goals
• Facilitate communication between business and technical teams
• Participate in user acceptance testing and ensure that solutions meet business requirements
• Develop and maintain system documentation and training materials

 

You'll be perfect for the role if you have:

• 2+ years professional experience in a business analyst role
• Experience in process, generalist or system business analysis 
• Experience within travel or retail industry or other internet-scale environments
• Background knowledge in discipline areas such as, requirements gathering process, design and architecture
• Analytical skills and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge in business process re-engineering and improvement
• Strong facilitation skills
• Good quality documentation skills, both technical and non-technical
• Attention to detail and effective organisation and time management skills
• Strong business acumen and critical thinking skills
