In this role, you will contribute to the evolution of our analytics capability by helping the organisation make better use of data, advanced analytics, and emerging AI tools. While the BI function traditionally focuses on reporting and dashboards, this position supports the next stage of our analytics journey by enabling new ways for the business to explore data, generate insights, and make more informed decisions. Working closely with business stakeholders, BI developers, data engineers, and data scientists, you will play a key role in translating strategic business challenges into practical data, analytics, and AI-enabled solutions. A key part of the role will involve preparing and modelling well-structured datasets that support both traditional BI reporting and modern AI-driven data interaction. This includes developing curated and semantically meaningful data models that make it easier for business users and AI tools to interpret and explore trusted enterprise data. You will also enable new ways for teams to interact with data, including developing Genie Rooms within Databricks that allow business users to query curated datasets using natural language.
