Salesforce Solutions Architect

 

FCTGs global CRM team is responsible for delivering technology solutions that create efficiency and enhanced effectiveness for both our people and our corporate customers.  With the Salesforce platform at the heart of these solutions, our Solution Architects play a key role in managing and evolving our world class CRM technology platform.

As a Solution Architect you will be responsible for the design and compliance of our Salesforce org to corporate enterprise standards.  With a strong lens around “solutioning”, you will plan, guide and lead the system architecture design.   

Our Salesforce team has just begun an exciting project to rebuild our Salesforce org, delivering a brand new platform for our 2000 plus global users. This is an amazing opportunity to be part of significant change and process improvement, using a modern approach to Salesforce design and architecture

Responsibilities:

 

  • Work with members of the broader team to ensure the best solution is sought and implemented
  • Design meets end user and business needs
  • Design, document and create underlying data structures and flows
  • Creation of build requirements where Salesforce config is required
  • Contribute to new idea conception
  • Engage with stakeholders to understand high level requirements
  • Work with Design Advisory and Governance team to ensure standards are met
  • Help guide technical direction of the team
  • Support the Head of Platform Technology
  • Innovate and identify new ways of delivering value

Requirements:

  • 8+ years project experience in a hands on technical leadership position
  • Strong working knowledge of Salesforce out-of-the-box functionality, including security best practices
  • Firm understanding of object oriented techniques.
  • Cloud /on-premise middleware and other enterprise integrating technologies
  • Salesforce in a development or configuration capacity
  • Knowledge and experience with SDLC techniques
  • Complete understanding of Salesforce governor limits
  • Working in Agile development teams
  • Developing physical data architectures based on logical data models
  • Demonstrates conflict resolution skills to ensure a positive outcome for all involved
  • Knows how to embrace conflict to achieve a win/win outcome for all parties involved
  • Thinks outside the square when overcoming problems
