Position objective

Office based role for a suitable Surveyor and or Civil Designer to complete a range of works with the Precontracts and Survey teams.

Responsibilities of the role include:

• Design works for Infrastructure and Structure Projects
• 3d Modelling – Existing Works and Design Works
• Volumetric and Quantification of Digital Data
• Volume Reporting for specific areas
• Support Survey Team when required
• Creation of conformance reports of Survey Works Undertaken
• Final Drawing and Plan Production

To be successful in this role, you must have;

• Experience in using the following drawing packages;
  -12d Office, Civil 3D and Magnet Office
  -AGTEK or similar products
  -Bluebeam

• Drafting background in the Civil Industry an advantage but not essential
• Knowledge of creating Digital Terrain Models
• Knowledge of Volume Reporting (3d take-offs) and Heat Maps
• Civil and Structural Design background
• Work Autonomously or in a team across multiple projects interfaces with Bid Leaders and Estimators
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to read and interpret PDF plans and digital data
• Experience in precontracts and construction environment and contractual requirements an advantage but not essential
• Process Driven and strong attention to detail
• Experience working on earth works projects
