The objective of a Project Administrator is to assist the Project Manager and wider engineering team with administrative support.
This is a 12 month contract position (maternity leave cover) however the role may be extended with the potential to undertake a permanent opportunity.
Responsibilities of the role include:
PURCHASE ORDERS AND INVOICE MANAGEMENT: Ensure accurate data collection and entry of all project related transactions to assist the Project Manager with their project reporting and management
PROGRESS CLAIMS: Assist the Project Management with entry of Progress Claims in to Jobpac to ensure timely reporting of project revenue, along with assistance with monitoring Progress Claim Certifications in accordance with contract requirements
SUBCONTRACTS: Assist the Project Manager with the entry of Subcontract Assessments in to Jobpac to ensure timely responses to the Subcontractor
ADMINISTRATION: Provide Project Managers with administrative support to assist their workload in order to maximise their time for managing their project
- Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite Experience
- 5 years relevant construction experience
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Demonstrated time management, planning and organisational skills
- Knowledge of Jobpac or similar accounting package (preferred, not essential)
- An understanding of the Security Payments Act
This position is a site based role. The successful applicant must be able and willing to travel for this position.
