The role: 

The Group Procurement Manager is responsible for ensuring the procurement activities across the Group align with its strategic objectives and contribute to financial success

Your impact: 

Contribute to the development and implementation of procurement strategies to meet stakeholder needs and expectations.

Your every day: 

  • Proactively identify and lead procurement initiatives leveraging the scale of the Group to maximise cost savings for all entities and business units.
  • Provide a high level of focus on the integrity of the procurement system across the Group, ensuring compliance from all participants across the business.
  • Proactively collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement requirements and coordinate key procurement packages
  • Optimise procurement processes across the Group to drive operational efficiency, ensure compliance with relevant legislative and regulatory obligations and monitor supplier performance.

Who are you? 

  • 10+ years relevant construction industry experience with proven results.
  • Demonstrable existing relationships with key suppliers and subcontractors in the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement principles, practices and strategies.
  • Ability to think critically and innovatively to identify unique solutions to complex problems.
  • Excellent negotiation skills.
  • Proven stakeholder management and ability to influence decisions.
