The role:
Due to secured projects across renewables and major transport, we are now seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join us from the outset of these projects to oversee, supervise and coordinate technical aspects of the project, providing technical advice and ensuring quality standards are met.
These are DIDO roles from Newcastle, NSW.
Your every day:
- Coordinating and administering construction engineering activities to ensure that projects are delivered in accordance with plans, designs and specifications.
- Participating in monthly financial reviews and providing cost forecasts against budgets to understand cost to complete.
- Leading and supporting a strong safety culture.
- Managing the construction program and implementing mitigating measures to keep the program on track.
- Demonstrating financial management skills and commercial acumen when making decisions.
Who are you?
- Bachelors degree in civil engineering or project management.
- A proven track record of delivering infrastructure projects and leading teams with a successful outcome regarding the above KRA’s.
- Effective communication with clients, consultants management & on-site personnel.
- Understanding of HSE/QA compliance.
- Experience in delivering infrastructure projects greater than $20mil in value.
- Ability to travel regionally when needed.
